The DTM returned to the UK for Round 6 of its annual championship. The series lost Mercedes as a manufacturer at the end of 2018, however they have been joined this year by Aston Martin, who enjoyed their first races in front of a home crowd in this championship.
BMW and Audi shared the spoils, with BMW’s Marco Whittman taking the win in Race 1, and Audi’s Rene Rast winning Race 2.
